The Department of Chemical Engineering Hosts Partner Colleges and Universities to Discuss Mechanisms for Joint Examinations
In light of the directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Technology regarding joint examinations between universities and partner public colleges for post-first-stage levels, the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology held an extensive meeting with representatives from the partner private universities and colleges. The meeting was chaired by the Academic Assistant, Professor Dr. Talib Mohammed Naif, and attended by Dr. Shaker Mahmoud, representative of the College of Engineering at Al-Turath University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alaa Dhari Al-Bayati from the University of the Future, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abd al-Fattah Mohammed Ali from Al-Farabi College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shatha Ma'la from Al-Kut University College, Professor Dr. Zaidon Mohsen Shakour, Head of the Chemical Engineering and Oil Refining Branch at the department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdulhadi Nouri, Head of the Exam Committee for the branch, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Raad Mohammed Jawad, the Branch Secretary.
The meeting included a discussion on the mechanisms for joint coordination between the two sides to refine and activate the academic and examination preparations, ensuring rigor in accordance with the outlined academic and curricular plans.
In this regard, the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Professor Dr. Khaled Ajmi Sakar, emphasized the importance of joint and effective work to achieve the goals and requirements of the joint examinations in accordance with the academic programs approved by the University of Technology in the fields of Chemical Engineering and Oil Refining.
