The Department of Chemical Engineering holds a scientific symposium on environmental protection and green economy

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban. And under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sakr, and based on the vision and program of the University of Technology on a sustainable green university, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Oil Pollution held a scientific symposium entitled (Environmental Protection and Green Economy in Light of Sustainable Development).

The symposium was opened with a speech by Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sakr, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, through which he expressed the importance of preserving the environment and achieving the mission of the green university in all aspects of the study programs and sustainable scientific research, as they are among the important goals of the government program of the state and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. A speech was also given to the organizing committee of the symposium by Assistant Professor Dr. Mai Ali Muslim, Head of the Oil Pollution Branch

The symposium included scientific lectures by Assistant Professor Dr. Qatar Al-Nada Ali Ghanem from the Middle Technical University and Professor Dr. Surur Atallah Khalifa from Al-Mustansiriya University. The seminar sessions were chaired by Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul Jabbar Abdul Razzaq and L. Taqi Jalal as rapporteur.
