Electromechanical Engineering Department hold a scientific symposium about "Future Solutions for Electricity and its Development"
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ghaban, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, the scientific symposium entitled (Future Solutions for Electricity and its Development) was held in Al-Kindi Hall in the presence of the heads of branches and a number of faculty members and students.
The symposium was presented by Eng. Sarmed Mansour, Iraq Sales Manager at LeGrand Company, who spoke about the most prominent methods used to end electricity problems.
The challenges facing the energy sector in Iraq in particular were presented, in addition to a detailed illustration of the automation of homes, commercial buildings and infrastructure, as well as how to control and manage energy.
The importance of converting homes to a smart system was emphasized in support of clean energy and reducing the effects of climate change on the environment through a smart system provided by the company without the need for additional extensions or wires, and controlling the home through smartphones.
