A Faculty Member Wins Silver Medal at SVIIF
Dr. Maryam Dari Kamel, a faculty member from the Biotechnology Branch, participated in the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF) held in Santa Clara, California, USA, from July 26-28, 2024. She was awarded the silver medal for her research entitled:
"The Early Diagnosis of Cancer Disease According to the Point Mutation in the First Exon of CRP Gene."
This festival is sponsored by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with support from the United Inventors Association.
The festival is established to promote modern inventions worldwide, offering inventors a unique opportunity to receive internationally recognized excellence awards for their efforts. It is considered the largest innovation exhibition and a unique gateway between East and West for inventors, serving as a scientific link between the world and the United States
