The University of Technology won second place in the Grand Challenge competition

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Hassan Al-Ghaban, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and the Director of Sports Activities, Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Thanoun Ahmed, the University of Technology team participated in the National Forum for the Grand Challenge Competition.

Under the slogan (Challenging Thought, Environmental Protection, Respect for Heritage, Technology for Change) for the period from 21-25 April 2024.

Within the framework of Al Nour Private University, the forum was dedicated to the universities that won the first three places in the Grand Challenge Competition.

Which was held during the first semester, and the University of Technology was among the advanced public universities, universities and private colleges, and our university team won (second place)

Within the axis (Technology for Change).

The total number of universities participating in the forum reached (25) public universities and private universities and colleges, with (7) individuals for each team divided between (people with special needs - supervisors - mobiles - guides). The project was worked on in the form of research and video, and a link to the work was created. Several training workshops were conducted on the project and the project was presented to the organizing committee.

In the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research within a maximum period of three months, the project was presented to the arbitration committee, and our university won among those universities.

The aim of the forum is to pay attention to people with special needs, organize many appeals, and develop the intellectual capabilities and skills of young people affiliated with and not affiliated with the Scouting movement by working in multiple youth teams, as well as exchanging experiences and paying attention to young people as they are (the youth of today, the leaders of tomorrow), exchanging experiences and training them to hone their talents and abilities, and cooperation. Positive competition, communication, effectiveness, increased productivity, increased morale when joining the team, improved level and quality of decisions, a sense of focus on the goal among the rangers and guides, taking responsibility and going through an atmosphere they are not accustomed to, which makes them able to provide assistance to others.
