The Iraqi Council of Engineering Accreditation grant national program accreditation to the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in the Electromechanical Engineering Department

The Iraqi Council of Engineering Accreditation granted the national program accreditation to the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in the Electromechanical Engineering Department for six years, starting 2021-2022, as the first engineering branch make this achievement at the country level.

The head of the department, Prof. Dr. Hisham S. Anid, that this achievement, which is the first in the country, and that because of lecturers and employees' concerted efforts indicating that the department has worked for many years in order to obtain programmatic accreditation by applying all the required standards and following up all the observations that the ministerial committees referred to in their visits to the department, praising the great efforts made by all lecturers and employees.

The head of the department congratulated all lecturers, employees and students in Electromechanical Engineering Department and the Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering Branch in particular, stressing the importance of keeping this achievement though retain commitment of national program accreditation standards, noting that graduate student has the right to show program accreditation in graduation certificate for six years starting from the academic year 2021-2022.
