The University of Technology Embraces Carnival 2021 Devfest

The University of Technology hosted Google Developers Carnival 2021 Devfest on Friday with the participation of a large number of students interested in programmatic and technological development, which lasts for two days, as this gathering includes a discussion of the latest programming developments from systems and applications that contribute to the development of knowledge horizons for specialists.

The scientific carnival was witnessed by the presence of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. Hassan Al-Ghaban, Vice -President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid, and General Director of the Scientific Welfare Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Saad Elewi, and the head of Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy. Prof. Dr. Mona Khudheir Abbaas with a number of directors of administrative departments.

The activities of the Youth Scientific Forum included discussions on the latest programming languages ​​in the main hall of the event in the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy, and a software competition involving the sons of the University of Technology, which will be held in the Innovative Students Club, and presentation of software projects, innovations, arts, and handicrafts in the university.

This year 2021 had a distinguished forum in which the University of Technology hosting of this event for the first time at the level of universities in Iraq after achieving all the requirements for success as rank one for science and technology and the broadest incubator for innovations and distinguished energies, which was highlighted through the Innovative Students Club of the University of Technology.

It is reported that the Devfest Forum is held annually, as Google chooses the optimal place, which is required to be an incubator for science, technology and young energies
