The University of Technology participate in honoring ceremony

The University of Technology participated in honoring ceremony of the Al-Sibt Prize for science, which was held by the Al-Sibt Specialized Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, at Cordoba Hall at the Palestine Melia Hotel, with the participation of a wide range of academic personalities who have a great reputation in the scientific and academic field.

The ceremony included a speech by the General Secretary of Al-Abbas shrine, Mr. Jaafar Abdul-Hussein Al-Moussawi, in which he said that the shrine is constantly working to motivate researchers in the scientific field and benefit from their scientific projects that participated in this carnival.

The representative of UOT Presidency, Director Media and Public Relations Department at the University of Technology, Dr. Sari Tahsin Rishan, said that it is our pleasure to attend such scientific carnivals, especially that one of its graduates from Applied Sciences Department, Dr. Rehab Jabbar Abdel Hassan, won one of the six awards granted by the Al-Sibt Center For the winning scientific projects titled (Future Technology for Nanomaterials).
