Electronic lecture between English language center and Cardiff Academy
Under direct supervision by Vice President for scientific affairs and high studies Prof.Dr.Haider Abd , English language center at university of Technology represented by its director Lect.Dr. Hussam Hussein , in cooperation with the British academy of Cardiff for English language at United Kingdom held a webinar entitled “ Material Choice and Evaluation in Second Language Teaching “ presented by the director of the academy Dr.Dina Tobin.
Dr.Hussam mentioned that the webinar is about directing the English language teachers to prepare the materials and its curriculum and how to choose the topics according to the learners’ age, level and culture. Dr.Tobin also talk about the language needs in our daily life,exams,immigration and work.
Dr.Hussam added that over than 350 participants from different universities have participated in the webinar.
The webinar was held through Zoom for about 3 hours filled with active discussion between the participants and the lecturer.
