Follow-Up Department Organizes Training Course

Follow-up Department at University of Technology, civil and emergency defenses division in cooperation with the civil defense center at Karrada District, held a course to learn how to use the fire extinguishers and the principles of first aid on the halls of Continuing Education Center in the University.

The course dealt with learning how to use the fire extinguishers, their types and sizes.

The course was presented by the lieutenant Qaed Saadi, first lieutenant Ayad Aqeel and commissioner Bilal Basim from civil defense center in Al-Karrada District.

Abbas Hameed, Director of follow-up department, said that the course aimed at learning how use the fire extinguishers, their types and sizes and the principles of first aid and discussing the use of each type and the best ways to save them.
