Al-Ghabban Inaugurates the Technical Festival

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban inaugurated the technical festival that was held by the Student Activities Department at the university on Monday 11 January 2021 on the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of the Iraqi army in the presence of the scientific assistant Prof. Dr. Haydar Abdul-Dahd, with the participation of 42 male and female students representing the departments of the Engineering and Scientific University as well University faculty and staff.

The official of the Technical Division in the Student Activities Department, Shihab Ahmed, said that the artistic festival included the free drawing activity, in which the president of the university participated with the students and employees of the university by drawing a collective mural that glorifies the heroics of the brave Iraqi army.

Ahmed added that the festival also included the drawing of 20 paintings for male and female students in which the sacrifices of our forces and their heroic stances were recalled while defending the homeland.
