A scientific delegation headed by the President of the University of Technology visits the Governor of Baghdad

In light of the scientific communication between the University of Technology and state institutions, a scientific delegation headed by the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, met  the Governor of Baghdad, Engineer Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, on Thursday, 12/24/2020.

This visit included opening horizons for joint scientific cooperation between the two parties in topics that serve the community, because of the advanced scientific laboratories and expertise that the University of Technology has in all scientific and engineering specializations.

Al-Ghabban stressed that the university’s doors are open for joint scientific cooperation in order to develop scientific and service projects that fall within the terms of reference of Baghdad Governorate.

He added that the University of Technology, through the accumulated scientific experience of its professors, qualifies it to work according to the latest designs and modern technology in the field of infrastructure projects.

For his part, the Governor of Baghdad, Eng. Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, said that the governorate is striving to complete important service projects, including water projects in most areas of Baghdad with high production capacities, as he expressed his happiness with the fruitful scientific cooperation between the university and the governorate because the university is represented by a sober scientific edifice.
