The University of Technology signs a memorandum of understanding with the Al-Mahatta Foundation for Entrepreneurship

The University of Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with the Al-Mahatta Foundation for Entrepreneurship in the presence of University of Technology President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, President Assistant of Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Abed Dahd, the Director of the Cultural Department at the University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hadi Gabr, and a representative of Executive Director of the station and Mr.  Ammar Al-Khatib ; as well.

This came in support of the university and Al-Mahatta Foundation’s endeavor to enhance joint cooperation between them towards developing the youths capabilities and enabling them to actively engage in the labor market and encourage them to innovate and advance the topic of entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as achieving fruitful cooperation between the two parties, especially in the fields of qualification, training, consultations and exchange of experiences in these fields. .

The memorandum included several things, the most important are: training and developing the capabilities of academics working at the university in the field of e-learning and facilitating the station's access to university students to conduct questionnaires and interviews to collected information that helps in designing the projects of the station, which contributes to increasing the effectiveness of these programs, improving their activities and facilitating the academics access who works in the university to the various halls and training rooms of the station and to provide exceptional discounts to benefit from them in various activities and training, especially in the field of electronic training, developing the capabilities of students and encouraging all primary and higher stages to scientific research and cooperation to produce graduation projects for the final stages and scientific research aimed to find solutions of the problems faced by various sectors in society, through pioneering and smart ideas, which contributes to increasing job opportunities for students after graduation, as well as the university’s contribution to providing scientific advice to the station, especially when designing and implementing its projects, and cooperating in holding conferences, seminars and scientific meetings in common areas, and the participation of researchers in the advisory side and activating education Continuous between the parties And media support for all joint activities.

Al-Ghabban said: This memorandum is in the interest of students and graduates of the University of Technology and contributes to improve  their ability and enables them to engage in the labor market and encourage them to innovate and advance the community of entrepreneurship and innovation, wishing them success and success in the service of our university and our dear country.
