The scientific assistant from the Department of Petroleum Technology at the University of Technology, Prof. Adel Sharif Hammadi received the award of the Innovation Exhibition and Conference as well as a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works in appreciation of his role in enriching the exhibition held in the Ministry of Construction and Housing.

Dr. Adel Sherif Hammadi participated in the conference with the patent entitled "The use of chemical treatment and activation for the preparation and study of the characteristics of Iraqi nano-bentonite coatings", which deals with the preparation of Bentonite nanometers in an innovative manner that adopts the treatment and chemical activation and high quality specifications and excellent properties.
