The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology held a panel discussion to discuss the research that participated in the scientific conference held in Lebanon by Prof. Dr. Emad Saadi Abdel Karim. Dr. Fatima Jafar Mohamed and  Prof .Assis.Manar Abdul-Jabbar resulted from the effect of polymer coating on the bone marrow fusion of titanium.

The study investigated the effect of dental implants made of pure titanium with polymeric gitosan on improving and increasing the penetration between the implant and the jawbone. The technique was very suitable for polymer deposition and coating on the surface of the implant. Contributed to accelerate the integration and docking between the jaw bone and prostrate.
