The Minister of Education confirms the implementation of the cooperation agreement with Egypt and the scholarship program comes into effect

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. NabilKazem Abdel-Saheb, confirmed that the cooperation agreement with the Republic of Egypt in the field of higher education has entered into force

The Minister of Higher Education, upon receiving the Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, in the presence of the Director General of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Hazem Baqer Taher, revealed that fifty Iraqi students will soon be enrolled in the study in Egyptian universities in primary and higher studies within the scholarship program granted to Iraq in light of the executive agreement. For scientific and cultural cooperation in the field of higher education between the two countries for the years (2020-2023).

The two sides stressed the importance of continuous communication, coordination and cooperation with the Egyptian side and following up on the affairs of Iraqi students studying in Egyptian universities, while they discussed the file of recognition of the universities of the two countries and the importance of developing and completing the Iraqi Cultural Attaché project in Cairo.
