Biomedical Engineering organizes occasion of National Afforestation Day workshop

In conjunction with National Afforestation Day, the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a workshop on the role of agriculture in achieving sustainable development, in which Prof. Dr. Moayed Nasseer Muslim from the Environmental Research Center and Eng. Dalia Mohammed Ali

The lecturers discussed current instructions related to solving the problems of desertification and declining green cover around the world, the concept of sustainable development historically, the concept of sustainable agriculture, and the main role of agriculture in that it is the basis of the ecosystem, because it improves the quality of the soil and contributes to combating desertification and other negative effects resulting from climate change.
