The Legal Affairs Department holds a workshop on the role of universities in confronting extremism and intellectual terrorism, in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Agency

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Legal Affairs Department at the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Service, held a workshop entitled

The Role of Universities in Confronting Extremism and Intellectual Terrorism, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Technology for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim and a number of faculty, staff and university students On the conference hall in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering.

The workshop aimed to deliver awareness lectures about the agency, its divisions, and its role in combating terrorism based on the contents of the Iraqi strategy to combat terrorism.

The Director of the Department of Legal Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Haider Abdullah Fadel, mentioned the role of universities in the field of combating terrorism.

The lectures were delivered in the workshop by employees of the Anti-Terrorism Agency, who are the human rights professor Abd al-Hussein Salman al-Abusi, Dr. Safaa Hussein Ahmed and Colonel Ahmed Jassim Kazem
