A scientific Visit of  Drs. and Students from Production and Metallurgy Eng. Dept.  to Military Industries Company

In cooperation between Production and Metallurgy Eng. Dept. at U.O.T. and state institutions, a delegation from Production and Metallurgy Eng. Dept. visited the Military Industries Company in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, and included the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Muna Khudhair Abbaas and Head of the Production Engineering Branch, Prof. Dr. Shukri H. Ghadeeb, accompanied by a number of lecturers  and students of 4^th stage of Production Engineering Branch.

The students have seen number of factories for programmed turning machines, milling, drilling and rolling, a factory for modern welding machines, as well as laboratories for manufacturing robots and drones.

It was also agreed on a joint cooperation mechanism between the department and the company in several areas, including summer training for students, which aims to enhance scientific research and serve our  country.
