The department of Control and Systems Engineering, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the University of Technology, held an attendance workshop entitled:
Smart Home Automation based KNX System
In the presence of the head of the Department of Control and Systems Engineering, Dr. Azad Rahim Karim and his assistant for scientific affairs and graduate studies, Prof.Dr. Mohamed Youssef Hassan, Head of the Computer Engineering and Control Branch, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdel Razzaq, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Branch, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, and a group of the department's teachers, and a group of graduates and first-year students.
The lecture was delivered in the workshop by the Executive Director of Elite Engineering Company for Smart Buildings and Solutions, Eng. Ahmed Al-Hariri, during which he gave a detailed presentation on KNX’s control systems, explaining the advantages and importance of smart building systems in terms of security and economics, in addition to its medical and industrial applications.
The workshop included extensive discussions by the attendees.
The workshop concluded with a thanking by the head of the department to the lecturer for his efforts in presenting the workshop, with a discussion of future ways of cooperation between the department and the company in the service of our students and graduates, and taking memorial photos.
