Control and Systems Engineering Dept. in cooperation with Computer Engineering Dept. at U.O.T., held an awareness symposium entitled:
" with application and admission strategies in the schools of the distinguished students, Secondary school College of Baghdad and talented ones and the necessary preparations for admission and on the conference hall in the department and in the presence of the Head of Control and Systems Engineering Dept. Prof. Dr. Azad R. Karim and Head of Computer Engineering Dept. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan and a number of professors and affiliates. The symposium started with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq.
The seminar included two sessions:-
1st session was inaugurated by the director of the secondary school of Baghdad College for Boys, Dr. Riyadh Atta Abdullah, explaining general information about Baghdad College, its admission mechanism and the nature of the curriculum. The session was attended by Mrs.. Asmaa Khaled Youssef, director of Al-Mutamayzat School for Girls located on Al-Maghrib Street, speaking about the distinguished schools in general, the mechanism of admission and the nature of the study in these schools.
Dr. Rawa Walid Abdel Wahab, representing the talentd schools participated in the inauguration of 2nd session, she talked about the nature of these schools, the mechanism of admission, the nature of the curricula and the advantages. The session was shared by the engineer Z. Hussein/ IQ trainer, and she talked about the most important aspects of intelligence tests and the need to educate parents about the importance of pre-training.
The sessions included extensive discussions by the attendees, and the symposium concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation by the head of Computer Engineering Dept. to the symposium lecturers and taking memorial photos.
