Women Empowerment Unit in U.O.T.  Organizes a Workshop on ' Female Janitors'

Women Empowerment Unit at the University of Technology, in cooperation with Training and worship Center, organized a workshop entitled “Marginalized Female Janitors in Society” at Youssef Salim Al-Sabbagh Hall in the center, in the presence of the Vice-President for Scientific Affairs/ Prof. Dr. Hayder Abed Dhahad and Head of Training and worship Center/Prof. Dr. Wissam Aliwi and a number of university female employees. 

Prof. Dr. Hayder Abed Dhahad stated that the workshop aimed at upgrading the principles of work and humanity and urging all groups to change work trends into valuable ones to build a professional reputation that helps the professional development taking place in the world as well as raising awareness and general advice about women and their role in society. 

Chief of Engineers/ Zina Al-Sabbagh, who is responsible for the Women Empowerment Unit at the university, emphasized the important role that female janitors play in our daily lives, as they are the main basis that reflects the organized view of the university.

Lec. Dr. Suhair M. Zaki from Department of Computer Science gave a lecture in which she explained that cleanliness is one of the most important values ​​urged by Islam, and it is one of the most prominent human and religious values.
