The Department of Chemical Engineering held a workshop tagged (CBRN) in cooperation with the Office of the Scientific Assistant / Division for the Control of Handling of Hazardous and Hazardous Chemical, Biological and Radiological Substances and the CBRN, attended by the President of the University of Technology Ahmed Mohammed Hussein al-Ghabban and head of the Department of Chemical Engineering Prof. Dr. jamal Manea al-Rubaie and Lec. Hashem Sharif Nemeh, official of the CBRN Handling Control Division, in addition to a number of faculty members, employees of the department and university, on Monday 13/1/2020 at Dar Al Salam Hall
The scientific session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar and the session moderator, chemical senior Israa Attia Ajil, who gave lectures to Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Mohamed Abdullah from the Department of Applied Sciences and Prof.Dr. Manal Afaham Thomas from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Lec. Hashem Sharif Nemeh, official of the CBRN Handling Control Division.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the risks of CBRN materials, the importance of prevention and protection, and define the role of the CBRN circulation control division and raise the level of laboratories, researchers and postgraduate and primary students dealing with dangerous and toxic materials in general, and at the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were distributed to members of the supervising committee and lecturers.
