Electromechanical Engineering Department grant MSc withexcellent&; to the student (Noha Ali Jassim Muhammad) for her thesis: "Enhancement of water Distillation System by using Solar" The study dealt with designing a solar distillation device to filter the salty water and make it suitable for human consumption, as the practical design of the system was done as a first stage that includes a group of internal graduated panels and after that, two glass panels were added to increase the difference between the temperature of the outer and inner surface to increase the process of evaporation and condensation, at the end a heat exchanger was added and a procedure Controlling the flow of water inside the system, and the study found the success of the designed device and the obtaining of large quantities of potable water compared to the size of the designed device.
