The Computer Science Department awarded Msc to the student (Doaa Salam Falih) in general computer science for her thesis entitled

"Enhanced Extented Tiny Encryption Algorthim (XTEA) Using Artificial Intelligence Technique ''

 On Monday 08/17/2020 in the discussion room in the building of the Computer Science Department.

The discussion committee consisted of:

- Assist. Prof. Dr. Sakina Hassan Hashem /member

- Assist. Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul-Ali/  member

- Assist. Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Khalaf Kabbashi / member and supervisor

This thesis proposes to improve the XTEA encoding algorithm through the use of genetic algorithms to generate the keys for this algorithm. Good results were obtained in comparison with previous work that included the subject of the thesis.
