The Department of Chemical Engineering holds a workshop tagged (CBRN material hazards) in cooperation with the Office of the Scientific Assistant / Division to control the circulation of hazardous and toxic chemical, biological and radiological materials and the CBRN University Committee

The Department of Chemical Engineering held a workshop tagged (CBRN) in cooperation with the Office of the Scientific Assistant / Division for the Control of Handling of Hazardous and Hazardous Chemical, Biological and Radiological Substances and the CBRN, attended by the President of the University of Technology Ahmed Mohammed Hussein al-Ghabban and head of the Department of Chemical Engineering Prof. Dr.  jamal Manea al-Rubaie and Lec. Hashem Sharif Nemeh, official of the CBRN Handling Control Division, in addition to a number of faculty members, employees of the department and university, on Monday 13/1/2020 at Dar Al Salam Hall

The scientific session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar and the session moderator,   chemical senior Israa Attia Ajil, who gave lectures to Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Mohamed Abdullah from the Department of Applied Sciences and Prof.Dr. Manal  Afaham Thomas from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Lec. Hashem Sharif Nemeh, official of the CBRN Handling Control Division.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the risks of CBRN materials, the importance of prevention and protection, and define the role of the CBRN circulation control division and raise the level of laboratories, researchers and postgraduate and primary students dealing with dangerous and toxic materials in general, and at the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were distributed to members of the supervising committee and lecturers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Department Petroleum Technology held a workshop for engineers and technicians entitled: (sedimentary rocks) delivered by Lec. Maysa A. Abdoun, and Dr.  Ahmed A. Ramadan on Tuesday 14/1/2020, at Geology Laboratory.

The workshop aimed to define the importance of sedimentary rocks and their types, and how to study the manual model of the rock in order to train geology laboratory staff and prepare sedimentary rock material for the second semester.

 

 

 

 

The Department of Petroleum Technology held a workshop for engineers and technicians entitled (General Geology) delivered by the teacher, Dr. Hussein Elibi Zamil, on Tuesday 7/1/2020 at the Geology Laboratory. The workshop aimed to introduce the engineering cadre to the basic principles of synthetic physical geology and the importance of identifying the vocabulary of this specialization that is closely related to the engineering side and specifically the engineering of oil technology, especially geology and oil reservoirs and drilling operations of wells and reservoir pressures and the difficulties they face in terms of hardness and quality of rocks and the type of hydrocarbons and traps Petroleum scattered in large areas of Iraq, as the engineering cadre was defined by physical and chemical factors that affect the processes of formation of the Earth's crust and its fiery and sedimentary rocks as well as a study of Metals in
