University of Technology President visits Department of Media
University of Technology President, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan al-Ghabban, visited Department of Media On Monday 12/23/2019.
He met the Department Director, Dr. Adnan Hardan, whom gave a detailed presentation about the most important achievements of the department during the past years, covering all the scientific, engineering and sports of the university events, as well as covering conferences, seminars and workshops.
The University President praised the Department of Media role in covering the university activities and posting them internally and externally, and he confirms his support for Media Department by providing all the needs.
At the end, he presents his thanks and appreciation to all employees of the department in appreciation of the efforts made to raise the name of the university high.

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban and Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Deputy , Dr. Jawad K. Ali visited the Center for Cultural Services and met the Director of the Center, Dr. Rahim Abdul-Sahib Oklah.
The Director of the Center for Cultural Services touched on the activities of the center and presented the structure of the center. He also pointed to the effort made by the center’s affiliates through the guiding centers in cooperation with the registration department at the university as well as providing an explanation of the available assets of computers, reproduction and other devices through which the center provides its services to students of primary studies. Postgraduate studies at subsidized prices.
In conclusion, the President of the University extended his thanks and appreciation to all the employees of the Center, calling for more efforts to upgrade the level and quality of services provided to students.

The University of Technology hosted the President of the Iraqi Federation of Sports Medicine (Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Abdullah Shafiq) to deliver a cultural lecture on obesity and joint diseases under the presence and support of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban and a number of heads of scientific departments, centers, departments and some of the university's employees, which were held in the dijla Hall in Electrical Engineering Department in cooperation with the Student Activities Department.
The lecture was given by the president of the Iraqi unity, of Sports Medicine Prof. Dr. (Mudhaffar Abdullah Shafiq), which included a pictorial display about diet regimens (keto diet) and foodstuffs and their effect on the human body and health because of the various proportions of fats, carbohydrates, sugars and starches and the extent of their damage if they were taken excessively or Deficiency in human health and body functions in general.
The lecture included a detailed explanation of the prohibited and permitted foods used in the keto diet system and the extent of their results in weight loss and relief of joint diseases whose risks increase relatively with obesity.
