University of Technology President visits the Nanotechnology Research Center

Within a series of field visits to have a look closely at the performance in all departments, centers of the university, the UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs Prof. Jawad Kazim and Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saadoun visited the Nanotechnology Research Center on Tuesday 10/12/2019 and they met the center director, Dr. Abbas Khammas Hussein, who gave a presentation about the role of the center in promoting scientific research at the university. By his presentation he touched the scientific and research results during the past five years as well as the plans for the current year and years in the future as well learn about a number of challenges that center faces in this regard. The UOT President expressed his support for what the center needs in order to improve the research reality in it, promising them a close visit to show the development in performance.

The University of Technology President, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban honored, during a special session of UOT Council, pioneers (the heads of UOT departments), scientific and administrative deputies  on Wednesday 4/12/2019.

The UOT President confirms in his speech by this occasion the role that these leaders had and their impact on the university obtaining a higher rank among Iraqi and international universities in terms of performance, In their turn, the honored guests (the celebrated once) gave influential words and wished the next leaders success in their work, leading to the continued progress and prosperity of the university.

At the end, the pioneers honored with UOT Shield and a letter of thanks and appreciation.

The department Student's Registration Affairs continues the procedures for under graduate students registering

The Department Student's Registration Affairs has started the procedures for opening the door for registration for students admitted to private universities and colleges, starting on Saturday 7/12/2019 and continuing the work of receiving and counseling centers in our university based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

On the other hand, the door for admission to evening studies has been opened to introduce students directly through the university, starting on Sunday, 8/12/2019, and the application will continue until the end of the official working hours on Thursday, 12/12/2019. The application and admission mechanism will be in accordance with the same mechanism followed in Departments of direct admission.

The University of Technology President visited the Department of student's Registration Affairs, Continuing Education and the Environment centers

The University of Technology President, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban , and(his deputies) scientific deputy, Prof.Dr. Jawad Kazim, and administrative deputy , Assist.Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saadoun, visited the Department of student's Registration Affairs, Continuing Education and the Environment Centers at UOT on Sunday 8/12/2019. As during the tour, it will be viewed the most important problems and obstacles facing them and how to solve them; in addition a letter of thanks was directed by UOT President to the Department of student's Registration Affairs for their efforts to speed up of achieving official letters.

Technology University President visits the Registration and Student Affairs Department

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. Hassan Al-Ghabban visited the Registration and Student Affairs Department on Sunday, 8/12/2019, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Jawad K. Ali, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Professor Dr. Abdullah Saadoun, University President deputy for Administrative Affairs, the conditions and work progress of the department were discussed, he directed to overcome all difficulties facing the department in it’s work and presented his thanks and appreciation to the personnel of the Registration and Student Affairs Department for the exceptional efforts made by the department's employees
