On the occasion of the thirty-fourth anniversary of the University of Technology, the student activities section at the university in cooperation with Biomedical Engineering Department held a friendly soccer for the students between the University of Technology team and Al-Israa University on the university's campus in the presence of the President of the University of Technology Prof.Dr.Amin Douai and his assistant for administrative affairs Prof.Dr.Sami Abu Alnoun , Head of Department of  Biomedical Engineering, Prof.Dr. Wissam Kazem, Head of Engineering and Control Department, Asst.Prof.Dr.Azad Rahim and number of students.

The match ended with the victory of the University of Technology team on the team of Israa Collage with two goals against one in the game that took place on Thursday, April 18, 2019.The technology team opened the match with the first goal by the player Aseel Abdullah and then the player Janar Hassan with the second goal and the player Rowan Khalid from Israa University reduce the difference by recording the first goal.The Rector and his assistant grant awards to the two teams as well as gifts to the presences.
