Modification of Ti02 coating film photocatalyst activity from UVo Visible Light utilizing Fe dopant via SoJ-GeI Method

Abstract

Pure Ti02 and Fe-doped Ti02 were prepared, deposited on glass substrates through dip­ coating method. The film photocatalyst activity was characterized by means of UV-VIS absorption, XRD techniques, AFM and photo-degradation (MB). The XRD measurement displays anatase phase exhibited in the prepared films. UV-VIS absorption spectra indicated red Shift in Fe-doped Ti02 samples whereas AFM test demonstrate decreasing in the root mean square roughness value in Fe-doped Ti02 in compare to that of pure samples. Finally,
photocatalytic activity test shows that Fe-doped Ti02 can work at visible light
