University of Technology hold a symposium on the progression of the Iraqi Marshlands

University of technology held scientific symposium tagged of "the role of the university for the advancement of the Iraqi marshes," in the presence of government figures and the French consul in southern of Iraq Adel Al-kenzauy in the conference Hall in the Department of control and systems Engineering at the university on Wednesday, 12/21/2016.
The head of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer mentioned in his speech: that the value of the marshes and the entry into UNESCO is a great accomplishment, praising the role of all those who contributed to this achievement and must be strengthened by the Iraqi universities with the support of the Iraqi marshlands.
The symposium included sessions which headed by dr.sami -Abu Noon Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs and dr. hassan Hamoudi Johnny from department of Building & construction engineering to submit working papers on the marshes subject and provide support interspersed screenings of films about the importance of the marshes, it started by the Ministry of Health and environment art dealer, Dr. Jassim peasant from a worksheet ministry, followed by a working paper of the Ministry of culture and Tourism presented by Mr. Jaber Al-jabery agent of the Ministry of culture and Tourism after that worksheet University of technology Introduction by dr.abd Razzaq Tarish and dr.mohammed Saleh Khafaji, from the Department of Building and Construction Engineering, which included the provision of statistics on research and doctoral thesis master's letters, which amounted to more than 1,700 research dealt with the reality of the Iraqi marshes in southern Iraq.dr.Ali Abdul-Zahra al-Lami, a working paper on the board of advisers "after joining the World Heritage List Requirements"
