University President presiding over a meeting of the General Commission in the Department of Chemical Engineering

The president of the University of Technology ,Prof.Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, presided on Tuesday 09.16.2014 a meeting of the General Commission of the Department of Chemical Engineering for the academic year 2014/2015 which was held at the Hall of seminars, attended by head of the department Prof.Dr. Thamr Jassim and his administrative and scientific Deputies and faculty of the department. The president of the university during the meeting talked about the achievements made by the department in the last academic year in holding seminars, conferences and sending department staff to complete their studies through scholarship and study leave, pointing to the progress that has got the university in the rankings among International and Arabic universities through the efforts of the professors and employees of the university students. He stressed the need to get away from all political appearances on campus and maintain a professional academic work within the university. Then, some things and needs posed by the audience to find faster solutions were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the department granted a shield and a certificate of appreciation for teaching professor (Faten Fadil) to be forwarded to retire in appreciation for her efforts in the development of the department and graduating engineers with expertise and high efficiency, wishing for all prosperity and success in completing their scientific march to serve our society in Iraq.
