discussion of master thesis

As a part of postgraduate requirements, Miss. Zahraa J. Abdulkareem has discussed her master thesis that entitled "Some properties of TiO Nanoparticles on Porous Silicon Optoelectronics Applications" on 25^thof May 2015.This thesis was accomplished under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Hubaiter \ Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering Department, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Uday M. Naief \ Department of Applied Science.

It was divided into three main parts. The first part included preparation of TiO nanoparticles by using the method of pulse laser ablation in liquid at different wavelengths. The second part was concentrated on preparation of Porous Silicon by photo electrochemical etching Technique. While the final part was focused on deposition of prepared TiO nanoparticles on the best quality results of the Porous Silicon and then used in application of photo detection where the results showed that the device has the best responsivity at the UV and visible regions of wavelength spectrum.
