The university channel has made a TV interview with the head of the laser and optoelectronics engineering department, Prof. Dr. Mohamed A. Minshid. This interview has covered three topics related to the technology of laser and optoelectronics applications, as followed: The first topic was about laser technology and different types of lasers and how can reach such lasers using different fabrications. The second topic has covered a wide range of laser applications in different fields such as medicine and industrial. The final point that was mentioned by the Prof. Dr. Mohammed A. Minshid is the physical base of the department in term of available laboratory devices and laser techniques comparing with other such device and technologies in the advanced countries
