Activity Details: Control and systems engineering department hosted a workshop tagged as (sewage problems :details of healthy activity, simultaneous and future solutions for Baghdad city's rains water) at Wednesday the16th of Jan 2013 this event held by the university of Technology /civil engineering department in cooperation with municipality of Baghdad in the conference hall at the department in the presence of the representative of the prime minister and the representative of the minister of the higher education and scientific research and the technical deputy of the municipality of Baghdad, and the president of the university of technology , a number of heads of departments ,general manager from all of the country institutions and members of teaching staff ,in order to discuss the problems and obstacles faced by the municipality of Baghdad in the issue of Water drainage as part of the university activity to serve the community and other country's institutions this action took place under direct supervision of the president of the university of technology.

Activity Details: A Scientific session had been held in control and systems engineering department in cooperation with the continuing education center in University of Technology titled "(FPGA) :Implementation using VHDL" this session Aims to develop the specialized scientific staff in electrical and electronic circuits on how to design and built systems using this device FPGA programmed by VHDL, a number of governmental employees participated in this scientific sessions also a number of post-graduate students and a group of teaching staff in the control and systems engineering department: this sessions had been supervised by :
