Sponsored by the president of the university of technology Prof Dr. Ameen Daway Thamer our department held a Scientfic Symposium titled  (Modern techniques used in communications networks and computer security) in cooperation with the electronic computer center on Monday the 2 nd of March 2015 in the conference hall in the department in the presence of a number of  heads of departments ,Ministries representatives  and specialized researchers, this Idea of holding such a Symposium due to the importance of such subject in our daily life according to the speech of the President  of the university from another side the head of the department and the chairman of the preparation committee Dr. Azad Raheem Kareem mentioned in his speech the importance of spotting the light or concentrating on the subject of this seminar especially these kind of fields the computer network field due to the big progress advanced  quality leaps in this kind of communications that should be tracked and this job fall under the responsibility of foundations and the specialty leaders in such fields the Symposium consisted of two sessions five researches in the modern techniques used in communication network , optical networking , cloud computing , information security and encryption as well as generations of mobile. sessions management done by  by Dr. Dhari Youssef Mahmoud, head of Department of Electrical Engineering  And Dr. Hala Bahgat, head of the Department of Computer Science.

 

At the end of the seminar appreciated certificates had been provided to the  participants by the President of the department  who invited on this occasion to continue to communicate and to cover the symposium subjects  by the specialists  in order to serve  science in our dear country.
