On Thursady  the 20^th  of November 2014 the department held a Martyrdom for the students and the university' s teaching staff  on the occasion of the Martyrdom of Imam Hussien(peace be upon his soul).

So this occasion could be an opportunity for gathering the students and the teaching staff of the department with the students and the teaching staff of other departments in the university.

Hence, the respected  president of the university prof.Dr. Ameen Daway  Thamer opened the luncheon with the participating of the vice presidents of the university  for scientific  and administrative affairs with a number of  heads of Departments , centers managers , teachers and students of the university ,in addition to the university's dearest guest

The committee of the social activity set up this event with the helping of some of the pre- and post- graduates students  under the direct supervision of the respected  head of the department Asst.Prof.Dr.Azad Raheem Kareem.

 

To be mentioned that this event is to be held every year at the same  time by the department and all the students that lived[ in-side the campus] (dormitories.) are included in addition to the opened luncheon in the department.
