The Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhim Farhan/ a teacher in the Department of Computer Sciences published two papers in International Journal of Emerging Trends and Technology in Computer Science the first paper entitled " ICM Compression System Depending On Feature Extraction" with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed and researcher Rasha Subhi. The second research under the title "new approach for security chatting in real time" With the participation of the researcher Sura Kalaf.

Where in the first paper they introduced a new technique for specific compression method by extracting characteristics. And in the second paper they create a new a security protocol for compression method in real time to all transformed data and protect them from breach.
