A discussion on the security of e-government and its role in the service of society



- By the supervision of the president of the university of technology Dr. Amine Douai Thamer, with the presence of Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul Wahab Head of Computer Sciences Department on (Tuesday, May 2, 2017) held a lecture entitled "E-Government Security and its Role in the Service of the Society" at Dr. Emad Kadhum Hall. presented by Dr. Hassanein Sameer, Dr. Alaa Kadhum, Dr. Abeer Tarek and Lect. Enas Tariq. The seminar was attended by a large number of professors and researchers.

  1. Introducing the department's employees to the basic concepts, types and infrastructure of e-government and it's benifits to society.
  2. Review all types of attacks that may be exposed to e-government service sites.
  3. Review of the citizen e-Government Model in Iraq.

In conclusion, the lecture explained that it is necessary to educate citizens about the concept of e-government and its future importance in serving the community and the possibility of developing methods and techniques used in the protection of e-government.
