the president of the university of technology chaired the meeting of the general commission of the computer sciences department with it's new leadership, the university president congratulate Asst. Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul Wahab for receiving the presidency of the computer sciences department he also congratulated both of the scientific assistant Asst. Prof. Dr. Aliaa Kareem Abdul Hasan and the administrative assistant Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa khadum Farhan , and he asked the department staff to support the new leadership.

then university president explained that the secret of the university's success is the corporation of it's staff ; and that what led the university to take the 2nd place on Iraq top universities according to Webometrics ranking in 2015
