General Faculty Meeting

The Department of Architecture at the University of Technology held a general faculty meeting on Sunday 24/05/2015 .The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Amin Daway Thamir the President of the University of Technology and headed BY Assistant professor Dr Wahda Shuker Al-Hinkawi the head of the Department and both of administrative and scientific assistants in addition to the teaching staff and employees .
at the beginning of the meeting Dr Wahda delivered a welcoming speech followed by a speech delivered by Professor Dr. Amin Daway Thamir concerning current and future activities in the University of the academic year .He also stressed in his speech on the accelerating achievements of the university world by ranks that showed the level of our university among Arab and international universities .Theses figures issued by reliable sites specialized in evaluating academic performance between universities .
He said that this progress is a result of effort enhancement between faculty members and employees .

He also replayed to some of staff comments and enquiries and gave brief but comprehensive notes in return which were enough to draw a path needed to solve problems may encounter faculty staff at this stage. At the end of the meeting he refers to the importance of embracing students as they are the builders of the future in addition to the employees then he wished all the best for attendees.
