The Celebration of University of Technology foundation Day

 Department of Architecture participated at the University foundation Day celebrations by various activities established within the central exhibition of students scientific products . outstanding students of the fifth class participated in this exhibition in addition to another exhibition held at the department. The main idea of the exhibition this year is about recycling, the exhibition made it clear by the re -use clippings of the remaining paper , boards , newspapers or magazines, empty cardboard boxes and plastic water bottles Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir President of the University of Technology has opened the exhibition and praised the participants for the efforts made in the exhibition as well as the main idea of preserving the environment through producing new things by using discarded materials which might contribute to reducing the pollution and to encourage the idea of recycling.
Deputy Minister of The Ministry of Environment visited the Exhibition and stressed on the need of promoting environmental awareness within the university community as being the basic members of the society, he also expressed his admiration of the designs presented by students and the importance of the idea of recycling by applying this idea within the university members as first step to be a springboard towards the local community.
