Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology with the presence of the heads of departments , their assistants and faculty members the Initiative Project " Reconstruction Of Al- Karrada District" After Perfidious Act Of Aggression project has been declared and submitted by the head of the Department of Architecture.This project dedicated to immortalizing martyrs souls who perished in this painful tragedy.This event came within a solidarity stand held by the University of Technology on 12 June 2016 .This project to re-design Al- Karrada District after the explosion submitted within architecturally, artistry and urban perspective on the formation and configuration levels as the criminal act occurred in a section of Al-Karrada Street within 500 meters long .This project included a proposal for a square and fountains in a condition that this place is dedicated to passers-by ( without vehicles) .This design is to express this great loss to immortalize Al-Karrada martyrs. This project implies urban , architectural and transportation studies with the maintaining of the architectural character of the street by focusing on the event space and highlighting its consequences on the level of cultural sights and social behavior in addition to the urban and architectural enriching.
