Our Department Hold a General Entity with presence of University of Technology Residence

By presence of University of Technology Precedence Prof. Dr.Amin Douai Thamer, Dean of Machines & Equipment Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Jaafar Mahdi Hassan, scientific & administrative assistants and all teaching staff.

Publishing a book for one of our teaching staff by the Lambert Academic Publishing in Germany

The book was published by Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, one of our teaching staff in machinery and equipment engineering department in LAP Lambert Academic Publishing in Germany entitled:

Scientific Tour to Baghdad International Airport

Under the scientific activities and with supervision of the President of Aircraft Engineering Branch, machinery and equipment engineering department organized a scientific tour for the fourth class students in the department, specifically Aircraft Engineering Branch, included a very close view to airplane parts and types of engines at Baghdad International Airport which identified with a detailed explanation of the work of these mechanical equipments to be updated with the scientific development as well as increase the experiences of the practical study with the theory study for our students.

Symposium of modern technologies in air-conditioning and freezing fields

Sponsored by the head of university of technology Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir, air-conditioning and freezing engineering branch of our department assess a symposium on modern technologies in air-conditioning and freezing fields on Monday date in 18th of March, 2013, in Control and Systems Engineering department and with the presence of the head of our department Prof. Dr. Sabah Tarik Ahmed a number of our teaching staff. The Symposium aims to give a brief idea about the developments in air-conditioning and freezing fields through the theoretical academics of our air-conditioning and freezing branch teaching staffs enhanced with the submission of a number of International Companies Representatives where they are :

Scientific Journey for Our Students Department to the General Company for Cotton Industries

Sponsored by the head of mechanical engineering department Prof. Dr. Sabah Tarik Ahmed, and on the principle of developing intellectual growth of the student and preparing the engineers properly and gathering the theoretical and particular topics where taught in mechanical engineering design, a Scientific Journey was prepared by our department under supervision of one of our teaching staff Dr. Eng. Jassim Mohammed Al-Jaff, to the General Company for Cotton Industries in Baghdad on Thursday date in 8th of Feb. 2013 for third class students of General Mechanical Engineering Branch. In the scientific journey, had been viewed the stages of textile configuration and its Russian origin machinery through an explanation by engineers and supervisors working in the factory, and they got through discussion between them and our students on stages of textile configuration.
