Abstract:

This project included analysis of transient response for first-order control system for Pneumatic Servo System. Time constant of the system was found in different modes by using metal bar or spring at the low and high gain with introduction of step and ramp signals. Root locus and frequency analysis method were used to check the Stability of the system and found to be stable with the change of system gain (in the root locus method) or with frequencies variation (frequency response analysis method). The pneumatic servo motor was providing device for this purpose. Finally, typical report was prepared and provided to control and measurements laboratory; to be one of the tests that would be given to students of the fourth class in the Department of machines and equipment Engineering.
