Abstract:

Practical experiences are an integral part of a fundamental engineering study for the student and of great importance not only for student but also for the lecturer because of their benefits in extending the student awareness for academic course and to link the theoretical with the practical side. Computer program was built in this project to calculate the transient system response for second order of pneumatic servo system, based on equations theory. The results show that the damping factor increases, the amplitude vibration of the system with the constant of the value of natural frequency of the system decreases. Also, the value of the system response and stability time decrease, which is the time required to reach steady-state condition. Finally, typical report was prepared and provided to control and measurements laboratory; to be one of the tests that given to students of the fourth class in the Department of machines and equipment Engineering.
