About the Department of Students Activities in the Technological University
 
 At the founding of the University of Technology in 01/04/1975 formed a circle associated with the Youth Welfare Assistant Rector for Student Affairs and the Department of Youth Welfare was made ​​up of:
1- Department of Physical Education.
2- Directorate of Culture and Arts.
3- Directorate internal departments.
4- Directorate of Registration university.
 He was the first Director of Physical Education Mr. comprehensive full and first director of the Culture and Arts, the famous painter Shaykhli chopsticks.
In the year 1981 was merged with the Department of Physical Education, Directorate of Culture and Arts under the name of the Directorate of Youth Welfare.
In 1985 canceled culture and the arts and became the Directorate of Physical Education in 1991 and unit linked to college sports assistant rector and after the year 2004 became the Directorate of college sports and artistic activity.
In the year 2011 changed the name of the Directorate of university sport and artistic activity to the Department of Physical Education and artistic activity until now
In the year 2015 changed the name of the Directorate of university sport and artistic activity to the Department of Students Activities until now.
