a. Preparation of preliminary studies according to the needs of colleges and departments. 

b.Conversion of preliminary studies and needs to proposed projects.

c.The validation of the initial projects, according to the precedence of the Presidency of the university or the university council.    

d.  Peparing as Integrated designs for projects through advertising in the media.

 e.Project admission and approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and then authentication of the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation.

f. Declaration of the implementation of the projects.

g.    The formation of committees to open bidding and commissions of tender analysis by the joint staff of engineers from the Directorate and Scientific departments and the legal and  financial units at the University.

h.   Direct supervision missions to projects that are approved and work within the joint committees within the Resident Engineer Department.

i. Follow-up projects carried out within the university by the staff of the unit of planning and follow-up in the directorate and prepare monthly reports for each follow-up project to demonstrate the practical achievement ratio and financial achievement and a statement of any obstacles or problems occur during the engineers workflow.
