Laser Engineering Department holds a course on the rules of writing e-mail
Laser and Optical Electronics Department at held a training course about e-mail writing rules for students and graduates on Tuesday 26/12/2017.
The course included the definition of participants, e-mails and the language of each type, as well as the definition of the students on the basic elements of the e-mail.
At the end of the course, the participants were given an exercise in writing e-mail. The aim of this course was to train the students to write the e-mail correctly because of its importance in the future when addressing companies, universities or international institutions.
IT Center holds a course on optical cable networks
The Information Technology Center at the University of Technology held a course on "Installing, inspecting and maintaining optical cable networks" with the participation of trainees representing the government departments and a number of employees of the University of Technology.
The course included several items, including: Introduction to optical fiber cables, optical cable welding by Fujikura welding device, optical cable inspection using the OTDR device and maintenance of fiber optic cables.
Building and Construction Engineering Department holds lecture
Building and Construction Engineering department at the University of Technology holds an awareness seminar about smoking addiction and its treatment presented by Asst.Prof.Dr.Kassem Hadi Moussa, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif and Asst.Lect. Ibtisam Sami in the presence of employees of Media and Public Relations Department at the university and a large number of students of the department as a step to Spread awareness among students and continue to serve the community by seeking to provide a healthy and clean environment inside and outside the university.The purpose of the seminar is to introduce the concept of addiction, its causes and types, the harmful effects of smoking, ways to treat addiction to smoking, how to exercise sports and its effect on the general health of the body and to avoid the harm caused by addiction to smoking and the opportunities to quit, especially young people and to encourage smokers and non-smokers to spread this awareness among their families
Continuous Education Center organizes modern cars examination course
The Continuous Education Center at the University of Technology organized a course on the examination of modern cars using computers with the participation of trainees representing the oil projects company.The course aims at introducing the types of sensors, methods of testing and diagnosis of car breakdowns.The program includes a general introduction to the types of sensors (examination / diagnosis of faults), actuators testing and diagnosis of failure, electronic control unit (mind), the use of computer to examine the vehicle
IT Center concludes a course on the SQL Server 2012 database processor
The Information Technology Center at the University of Technology concluded a course on (SQL Server 2012 Database Processor) with the participation of trainees representing a number of state departments.
The course included several items including introduction to SQL Server 2012, its versions and nature, the installation of the Enterprise version on Server2003, the installation of the Workstation version of the Clients, the addition of Logins and the connection to SQL Server 2012 in two ways: Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication, as well as analysis of database systems and database building Work tables and work links.
The course aimed to gain the participant's experience in analyzing and building SQL Server 2012 network databases and managing them.
