A student from the Materials Engineering Department received a PhD in the manufacture and characterization of Nanoparticles

A graduate student in the Materials Engineering Department, Sabreen Ali Abd Ktaie received her PhD thesis entitled "Fabrication and Characterization of Functionally Functional Nanoparticles"
The aim of the study was to study the preparation of nanotubes using the liquid gel technique and the manufacture of smooth and functional materials.
The results showed that liquid gel technique was suitable for the preparation of Nanoparticles and showed the calculated density of the results subject to sintering by increasing the number of layers. The measure of dimensional change showed linear contraction. As for the hardness test, it showed a hardness gradient proportional to the gradient gradient within the system and an increase in hardness. The X-ray diffraction analysis showed the hexagonal and spherical fractions and the results of the electronic scanner included a microscopic gradient within the system from a plate shape in the spherical to a spherical shape in the soft clay.
The discussion committee consisted of: Dr.Najem Abdul Amir Saeed as President and Professor Majed Mohi Shukr from the University of Babel ,Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hassan Attieh ,Dr. Saad Badri Hassoun Farid ,Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban as Members and Dr. Fadhel Attia Jaid and dr. Akram Rahim Jabr Supervisors members from the University of Technology and Prof. Abdul Wahid Kazem Rajeh from the University of Babylon scientifically and assistant professor Dr. Samir Ali Amin of the University of Technology linguistically.
